LYNN'S PRIORITIES

Affordability

Making Manassas a place where people can live, work, and thrive.

Affordability is about more than housing. It’s about utility bills, taxes, and the everyday cost of calling Manassas home. I want families to build their futures here, young people to be able to come home, and longtime residents to be able to stay. We can invest in our city while respecting the people paying the bills.

It’s your money. Let’s spend it wisely.

Experience In Action

Championed a 15% personal property tax refund when used-car values skyrocketed, returning unexpected tax revenue to our taxpayers.

INFRASTRUCTURE

Planning today for the Manassas of Tomorrow.

Reliable utilities. Safe roads. Strong schools. Strong Public safety. These are the basics our residents depend on every day.  As Manassas grows, our infrastructure and services must grow with it. I support responsible growth with the planning and investment needed to make it successful.

Planning ahead isn’t anti-growth. It’s how we make growth successful.

Experience In Action

Voted against the original Route 234 Bypass (Prince William Parkway)/Clover Hill bow-tie design because I didn’t believe it was the right long-term solution. The project has since been redesigned.

QUALITY OF LIFE

Keeping the heart of Manassas Strong.

Our parks. Our neighborhoods. Historic Downtown. Local Businesses. Community Events. The people who make Manassas home. I believe we can welcome new neighbors and new investment while respecting the character, history and sense of community that make our city special.

Moving Manassas forward without losing what we love about it.

Experience In Action

Advocated for GMBL and keeping the donated land now known as the E.G. Smith Baseball Complex for community use. Before serving on Council, I worked alongside neighbors to save Lee Manor Park.

STRONG SCHOOLS. STRONG FUTURE.

Supporting our schools strengthens Manassas.

Our students deserve safe schools, supported teachers, and every opportunity to succeed. City Council and the School Board have different responsibilities, but we share one community. Decisions about growth, development, infrastructure, and City resources should always consider the impact on our schools. Our schools are an investment in the future of our entire city.

Different responsibilities. One city. One school system. Plan together.

OPPORTUNITY FOR EVERY STUDENT

Expand what works. Dual-language learning, advanced academics, career pathways, internships, and real-world experiences that help every student find their path.

INVEST IN GREAT PEOPLE

Expand what works. Dual-language learning, advanced academics, Great schools need great people. My HR and organizational leadership experience brings a focus on listening, developing talent, and building a workplace where people want to stay.career pathways, internships, and real-world experiences that help every student find their path.

PLAN FOR WHAT'S NEXT

Osbourn is our only high school. As Manassas grows, what will it need in 5, 10, or 20 years? The City and Schools should plan together to anticipate needs, align priorities, and prepare for what comes next.

YOUR CITY. YOUR VOICE.

Your voice should matter before the decision is made.

Good government listens, asks questions, and welcomes different perspectives. Residents deserve to know what’s happening, understand how their tax dollars are being spent, and have a real opportunity to speak up before major decisions are made. Manassas works best when its people are part of the conversation.

Experience In Action

When residents were divided over a proposed Wawa, I went to the neighborhood and listened. I asked questions, did my homework, and weighed the concerns and benefits. I ultimately voted yes, reflecting the majority of residents who reached out while respecting and addressing the concerns of those who disagreed.
